🏢 AI taking over Meta Ad Platform?
What you need to know? Meta plans to remove humans from the ad creation process by 2026, according to the WSJ. The company is working on an AI that can generate FB and Insta ads using just a product image and a budget.
Details:
Companies will simply upload a product image and set a budget. The AI will take care of everything else like writing, generating visuals, picking the audience, and managing where the ads show up.
Ads will be personalized in real time. For example, a car ad might show mountains to one user and a city street to another, depending on their location.
The tool is aimed at SMB without in-house marketing teams, offering professional-grade ads without agency fees or technical skills.
Advertising remains central to Zuckerberg’s AI strategy, already making up 97% of Meta’s yearly revenue.
This raises a lot of questions: What about creative agencies? Clients with strict IPs? Hallucination risks? Good for MVP but masterplans? Internal resistance?
That’s your AI download for the week. Stay ahead, stay informed, and see you next Monday.
